Do you have restaurants registered on HomeStove?
No. HomeStove is only home kitchens — verified home cooks running real food businesses. No restaurants, no cloud kitchens, just ghar ka khaana.
How do HomeChefs get paid?
The food price goes straight to the HomeChef's bank account via Razorpay — HomeStove never holds or touches their earnings (only the standard payment-gateway fee applies). You pay a small, transparent platform fee. Fair for them, honest for you.
Who can join HomeStove as a home chef?
HomeStove is for anyone who cooks with love at home — women, men, couples, and whole families are all welcome to show off their culinary skills. The only requirement is that you're 18 or older.
Do I need FSSAI registration/licence to join?
No, not to sign up. You can join the waitlist without FSSAI. When we activate your pincode we'll share a plain-English guide so you can register for a basic FSSAI licence yourself. It is usually cheap, around ₹2000 to ₹5000 per year depending on the state you live in.

How do I get paid?
Payments run through Razorpay Route: the customer's payment flows straight to your bank account. HomeStove is only the bridge — we never hold or touch your money.
Razorpay charges its standard per-transaction fee, which is deducted from your selling price, and the balance reaches your account within 24 hours.
